Slow Bass Fishing In The Paterson River

Hey raiders,

Put in at Morpeth at 5.30am Saturday moring with my son and my brother, went up the Paterson a few clicks past the Woodville bridge and fished our way back down. I was using a Secret creek spinner bait, and also tried a Jackal, but didn't even get a touch after 3 solid hours of casting, the young bloke caught a 23cm Bass below the bridge, on a black cricket, and we gave up about 9.30, the water was a good olive green colour and the river was running out, but still nothing, they might be packing it in for the season. Dunno, but we will try again next weekend!!
