zen801
G'Day all, Mate rang me in the morning and asked if i wanted to come out for a spin in his Cruiser. Of course play beats work every time so met him at D'Albora and jumped onto his 35ft fully decked out palace. WOW what a boat I knew i was in heaven when i got passed a bourbon and coke. The pressure was on as they all wanted to know where we catch some fish. Went to a few usual spots for not a lot so then settled back to my favourite spot but due to the size of his boat we were off the usual mark a little bit. In the late afternoon we started to get some fish. Paul got smashed on his Torsa loaded with like 80lb braid and after a good fight that we called a king in the beginning became a very healthy hammerhead at just over a metre. Dehooked him and let him go. Then i get a good hit and bring up a nice big flattie but drop him at the boat. No net on board Started jigging my fresh squid strip every now and then get a take from a nice little jewie. He was maybe 60+ cm so let him go for another day. Nice afternoon having a few and what a boat! Have a good week end raiders.

jewgaffer
I'll bet you hit that exact "wrong spot" next time Mike when the high tide hits around eleven pm and that is a certainty !! Cheers jewgaffer
Josh88
Nice work, good little variety of fish there, flatties can be really difficult without a net, bad luck on that one. Josh
