brickman Posted March 16, 2008 Share Posted March 16, 2008 hey raiders,went out 4.30am watsons for yakkas then to the gap.dropped pick at new spot ,2 hours for 1 pike[no snapper.no bonito,no tailor,NO KINGS] back to oldmans hat,berly up for zip.it took 1.5 hours and a blackfish hook to even get a pinky,finely have bait at the back off the boat,little garfish,caught 2 one in the tank one out the back for zip.caught the biggest jacket i've ever seen,fished for 2 more hours for zip pulled th pin at 10.30 headed home.desided to stop near the zoo to give the boat a wash[berly up] nice bream then 2 whiting [you know what happed next]zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz king on prawn,neils on,he never stopped that fish,line failed at swivel[6lb to be expected] out goes the live garfish to join the yakka,gar jets hammered by a tailor,5mins later the yakka starts going spaz as soon as neil picks up the rod zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz kingy this was a just legal king but his first this year,first from a boat.first legal king for my mate,i think i enjoyed watching him run around the boat fighting that fish more than catching one myself crapp morning with an action packed last 2 hours regards brickman Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Poacher Posted March 17, 2008 Share Posted March 17, 2008 Hey, I'm not sure its a jacket from the photo. If its not, then its could well be highly toxic.
