hulafish
G'day All , Iwas thinking about taking the tinnie up to port hacking over Easter . I have never fished there before and was wondreing if any raiders could give me a few tips as to locations and Boat launching facilities . Also where would I be able to catch live baits such as yakka's , poddy mullet and nippers ? Will be fishing from a 4metre boat with 25 horse so moving about to find fish wont be a problem ! Any info would be greatly appreciated ! Cheers , hulafish
Davemmm
As said Maianbar is a great spot for nippers. Yakkas can be found all over you just have to find them. Try the two wharves at the end of the channel in Gunnamatta bay Bundeena ferry wharf Bass and Flinders Pt Wallys wharf in Dolans Bay Gymea Bay wharf For poddies try the end of Gunnamatta Bay sometimes the end of Yowie Bay A few spots around the Grays Pt area The bay between Maianbar and South west arm (not sure of its name but its hard to get into at low tide) Dave

fisherdad
NSW Maritime have all their maps on their website. You can download them but they are a secure PDF so you wont be able to print them using normal software.
tumra
mate word is bunnareer bay is fishing fairly well, as well as the deep water up towards lilly pilly. Though a word of warning, the hackign is a funny river. One day it can be fishing like a dream and the next it will be dead... so you really have to try your luck.
