Hi Slinky It would be best to start off before first light and just drift, troll or tie up to a mooring around the moored boats, the second lot up from palm beach wharf where you burley up to get your baitfish and you can get your squid over the opposite side, where you should look out for a well balanced mixture of sand and weed beds. You should keep moving within the area as they may be down deep. Kingfish come into a vicinity very fast and good results can often come after nothing is noticable on a sounder and no sign of any birds.

I shouldn't say fish the near cnr of Stokes point on the run in which you'll have, but everyone knows it's good water and has sufficient structure and deeper drop offs up there to attract kingfish and no one part of it is as specific as a jewfish highway and there is literally acres of room.

Kingfish can get themselves all over the place in the vicinity of moored boats and often stay there for long periods, active or inactive and at varying depths on the day. They are capable of going into the shallower water to chase baitfish and hang around the corner of points waiting for baitfish working along with the tide.

By the way Tony the morning wind direction is forcast to change in the early afternoon if that time is more suitable for you and little slinky ec to stay on or do a later start and fish until sunset on Saturday.

Cheers
