Dewfish And Snapper

i have been fishing for dewies and have had pretty good success, however i dont have a decent set up and need some help.

i just bought a shimano 6500B baitrunner and now looking for a rod to match. i fish in the Hawksbury for the dewies using live bait and plan on using the same rod and reel for snapper outside.

if i can get some help on which rod to get i would really appreciate it. my budget is $150.

also which line is best?? i heard 20lb mono would be good for the dewies and braid is best for snapper. obviously ill have to get a second spool for the line but that doesnt bother me.

Id be looking at a 7ft or 8ft rod, something in the 8-15kg range.

Wilsons are great.

20lb line is fine, braid is not that suited for Snapper if fishing baits, the one mono will be fine for both fish.
