is the anywhere that might spark a chance for us other then there??? or are we dreaming

Dont know the area myself but if it has baitfish or holds squid then your headed in the right direction .

If it drops away into deeper water then you have half a chance .

Kings from the rocks is like x10 on difficulty from a boat :1prop:

Cheers , hulafish

well where thinking we should be able to drag up some yakkas or squid from there hopefully... we have a live bait tank and looks to drop of just after rocks...

we used to get them under Bondi Golf coarse it's called the Bondi murk. So maybe worth a try but you have to climb down and can be effected by swell etc

Mate that location is definately not a good spot for a begginner....As always with rockfishing Safety should be number 1......only go to new ledges with people who know them well....

are netic the sweet smell off the murk, not

the advice netic has given you is golden and could save your life

being the last person to be helly lifed out off there after a fall[broken rope] and not be charged for the ride

i also had a mate fall at rosser gully[chain ladder broke] and had to carry him out

no fish is worth your life.we took the risk and payed the price, very lucky wear still fishing

if you must fish the rocks here are my rules

1;never fish alone

2;watch the swell for 20 mins before you start[we never went if it was over 1.5 meter swell]

3;when you hook up your mate watches the swell for you

it's that 20 seconds you take your eyes off the swell that it will get you

hope you hook up to a king, off the rocks what a rush. regards brickman

hey yep,a boby cork or a balloon with be the go.hook through the back and use the back wash to get the livey off the rocks

you would idealy like your bait about 2 meters off the bottom

catch as many fish as possible[i mean do'nt just sit on the livey rod]

the more bait fish you catch will atract bigger fish

you can let the bait go at the end off the session

if you hook a tailor[will hit surface lures and my fav,gar with 4 gang hooks]they will jump try to keep the fish in the water till your mate hooks one that way you may keep the fish there and on the chew

tailor never travel alone.they make great jew bait and king bait if there not to big

hope this helps gary
