Pittwater Fishing

In Pittwater moored boats generally hold baitfish. I would settle in and anchor back from the outside and ten metres or so behind the last of a line of moored boats and cast straight out at angles behind your own boat, angling a couple of rods towards the back of the moored boat to catch predators waiting to intercept baitfish etc leaving the area with the current at the start of a run out tide, and other predators coming across as well. Other areas to consider again on the run out are both sides of a point, where you can anchor square on to the point and cast at both sides of it to give you part of the eddy section and just to the outside of the current section coming back from the upstream end.

Cheers
