Josh88
I heard today that a 2 metre white pointer shark was caught off Freshwater beach yesterday. Anybody know anything about this??? If its 2 metres then i'd imagine it wouldn't be that old, meaning maybe its mum is not too far away and is probably 3 or 4 times the size. Don't think i'll be going to freshie for a swim anytime soon. Josh Woops, hadn't seen it in the Library section
Floating_Medic
2 metres ay? is that a "media" 2 metres? Most likely about 47cm and a gummy.
mrmoshe
I posted the story in the library this morning Josh with a pic of the poor dead noah. It was front page in today's Manly Daily. Cheers, Pete

Laredo
Caught how? Aren't they protected?
mrmoshe
Caught how? Aren't they protected? It wasn't caught but rather was sick and dying and washed up on the beach. Lifesavers tried to revive it earlier by towing it back out to sea but it must have been on it's last legs and died before washing ashore. And yes, they are a protected species. Have a read of the full story in The Library. Cheers, Pete.
