Sea Kayack Fish Finder

hi,

I would like to install a fishfinder to my sea kayack. Can anyone give me some pointers as to how id go about it. And also what type i should be looking for.

The type you get can depend on how big your wallet is .... if you can go for one with a GPS as well (if you plan on fishing offshore regularly) it will help you put in reefs & good fishing spots & only have to put in one set of holes for the unit. Also tells you how far (& where) you got to on your travels!

Check out Google & make sure where you want to put it before drilling holes!! Keep any 'plastic curls' for any repair jobs at a later date!

Mine is the Cuda 168, a pretty basic B/W one (no gps) mounted on my Hobie. My brother Sails has just put in a Humminbird 100 in his.
