donjuarez
Hi all, Simple question, I suspect my shear pin broke last time I was on the water. How easy, and how long should this take to replace? I have a couple of spares, just haven;t had to do it before.. Cheers, AJ
a boat
Hi AJ, very easy to replace a shear pin, it should not take more than 5 minutes if nothing is seized. Replace pin and re-fit with some marine grease on the shaft and prop nut thread and you will be good to go. Cheers, Huey.
