GregL
Jeremy and I have been out chasing whitting on worms with some nice feeds coming home. While drifting over some deeper spots I'll usually throw a plastic around for a flattie or two. While positioning the boat along the drop off we just slowly drift along down the channel. Fantastic time just chillin out having quality time. The other day after pulling out 3 decent flatties in a row Jeremy requested a change to plastic before the bite stopped. I was just about to cut his line to tie on a leader when he says "nah just put the Craw on the same hook". Who was I to argue, less rigging for me Out went his rig on his little "Custom Wharfie Lite" outfit, well over the next 45 mins he smacked my bottom 9-3 on the flatties including his new 60cm PB! With my tail between my legs we headed for my usual last run spot before the boat ramp. Running down a long marina wall out went the same rig, BLOODY HELL it pulls bream to! The rig, Number 1 ball sinker, swivel, 1m 5lb leader and a No.4 Gammie worm hook. Jeremy's lure choice, Gulp Craw in Punkin Seed. Simple, effective and I think he landed 13 legal fish on 1 packet. Here are 2 of his captures. And his PB 60cm flattie
