luderick -angler
Not a bad catch riceball my old man has been braining the fish in the harbour for 18 months now has only gone fishless 3 or 4 times, they are about you get them east or west of the bridge? The spot you were at was it being fished previously by others? As dad says he has seen very few anglers targeting luderick these days even the guys on Sydney Ferries reckon hes the last diehard from the old school! And they are in the know! You knowwhat i mean Rosterman! Walsh Bay early 70's to mid 80's regardless awesome effort and proves they are about if your in the know!

donjuarez
Top effort! well done a couple of huge looking ones amongst them! Roosterman... is it safe to assume that wherever you find some weed growing, that the blackies shouldn't be too far away?

Got them at middle head, where there are weed grown on the rocks. Its a quite popular luderick spot, just look for the chopped weed left on the rocks, thats a good indicator there are blackfish around. Louis Hi Louis, Mate thats a nice bag of fish. Your doing better than me. Last 2 trips have been totally dead out in MH. Cheers Mike: I heared the water temp. dropped down to 17, guess all the plagics have gone off. But i bagged couple of nice trev and bream near the spit last time. But the species off the rocks seem bite much better in the cold water. outdoordan
well done Riceball You've got to be happy with a session like that I'm yet to target blackies in the harbour, I normally fish the Georges. But with fish like that i don't think it will be too long before im out that way Cheers Dan
