mottyman
Hi all, My mate Geoff, my son Andy and I hit the Georges on Sat 22nd and fished the moons on the tide change AM. We got onto some nice bream and my mate Geoff got a lovely 50cm flatty down near Lurgano rail bridge near the bottom of the tide. I have some pics but they're only of my smart arse eight year old son (holding bream) who comprehensively outfished me. Isn't it always the way. Give a kid a peeled prawn and he'll outfish you every time, no matter which lure you try. The pics are still in my digicam so I'll post them later when I forgive him. Cheers David. mottyman
Yeah, especially when you consider I'm the one baiting his hook all day and looking after his gear Still, I'm happy he had a nice day, makes it all worthwhile when you see the excitement on his face when catching fish. He just needs to learn the propper etiquette when outfishing both the skipper and his dad. Dancing around and keeping count of every fish doesn't win him any friends on the day Here's a pic of one of his bream Cheers,
Ken A
Dancing around and keeping count of every fish doesn't win him any friends on the day That reminds me of a day fishing the road bridge many years ago & getting bream with my Dad & my younger sister. By the time she was up to a count of 16 & he was fishless he utterd those words " will you shut up ! " Thats a nice Bream he is holding Good one! Martin
Its great to see the young ones get so much enjoyment from the simple pleasure of fishing. Next step is to let him learn how to bait his own hook so you can concentrate on your fishing, but what are dads for??? Cheers
