shefford Posted May 15, 2008 Share Posted May 15, 2008 (edited) Well I've been short a rod out on the boat a few times lately so i've decided to try and get my old bottom basher out to fix it. It's a basic penn overhead reel , but the guide runner that spreads the line out back and forth along the reel has stopped and is no longer moving, thus the line is all getting put on one side.
