spirit_fall88
sorry about the late report. was too busy. finally the trevallies has arrived for winter. The kingies has gone home back to the north. But there are still some kingies left but very inactive at pier 2. There was a few harassing the bait school and one got hooked onto a SP by some guy using 4lb Anyways started cubing with the pillies, we havnt used it for soooo long! No action with just the cubes. So as soon as i burleyed with the pillies the fish are on! My friend caught his first trev around 35cm, then it was my turn catching around the same model on my 6-10kg rod, 18lb monoline. Then the bigger brother struck my rod as the bait was dropping down as i noticed my line was going out faster than normal, closed the bail arm, locked the drag up and it was fighting pretty hard, havnt fought a decent fish in a long time. It couldnt pull try but it was trying to take me down against the pylon 3 times! luckily i pulled it away it was a whopper of a trev. Then also caught a 27cm bream which was released. My new pb of 42cm for trevs in the harbour!
