With tank full of livies we headed out to the traps in search of dollies, first pass came up tight but only very small. Moved out to the fisheries fad and its was a carpark, trolled lures then drifted livies for zip, there was just too mny boat around.Towards lunchtime i decided to drop a knife jig as i had found some nice showings in 75m water, third drop hooked up to a nice fish which gave me a bit of curry on 50lb braid. Ended up with a nice fat 84cm king which would have went about 5-6kg. Did this for another hr for zip. Home at 2pm
