gazman
just returned from a week on board charter boat fishing the areas around great barrier island nz. our first hour and a half on board yielded 60 snapper all over 40cm.out for 5 days we had 2 great days and 3 30-40 knot days(yuk).for the people who like their snapper fishing this is close to paradise. fish caught ranged from snapper, hapuka(deep),john dory(my first)trevally, kings and some nz reef fish. all up if weather was better would have been perfect trip. cost was approx $2200.00 per person(max 8)includes air fares, lodge transfers and accom and boat hire for five days live on board all inclusive.not bad i thought. james7
our first hour and a half on board yielded 60 snapper all over 40cm Unbelievable! I’ve only ever caught one snapper over 40cm. Sounds like you had a fantastic trip jacksea. Pity about the bad weather for those three days, but I guess the two good days made up for it. What happened to all the fish that were caught? Also, any photos just to make me more jealous? Cheers Peter
