Lightweight Posted January 25, 2005 Share Posted January 25, 2005 (edited) Hi All, Myself my GF and a few mates went to Lake StClair for the second time to "test the waters". I have only fished with hard bodies two times, so i am no expert in that area at all... We tried a few Rapala's, and some other "purple" lure that my uncle gave me from his NT Barra fishing days with no success at different times in the day. As soon as i put the purple deception into the weed beds... BANG. I caught 6 in the space of about 20 mins. At this stage it was getting a little dark and had to get back to camp to add a few ales to the system... Was a great weekend with a few good fish. The only problem was the temperature, it was over 40 degrees both Friday arvo and most of Saturday... LW. I have included a photo of one of the bigger ones. All where released to see another day.
