soft-on Posted June 5, 2008 Share Posted June 5, 2008 Morning Raiders, I am looking at new rods, i am always loyal for Daiwa or the Shimano or ATC but i wouldnt mind swinging onto something else. I have seen them they dont seem to bad. I am more after information if anybody owns one of these rods? As you know mainly for Bream,bass,jewies..... Ray R Posted June 5, 2008 Share Posted June 5, 2008 G'day , I have a Berkley Pro Tactic 7' 2-5kg one piece, what a great rod, I have fished for flatties to good sized snapper with it handles all with ease, it has an unusual rear end but you get used to it.. slinkymalinky Posted June 5, 2008 Share Posted June 5, 2008 I've got 2 Berkley Drop Shot rods... a 7'6" 4-8kg and a 7'2" 2-4kg. I use them for plastics fishing mostly and love both of them. I've got a number of more expensive rods but these 2 go with me on almost every trip out and are the first I reach for. fantastic value for money.
