kingfishercam
Went out yesterday at miday and fished untill 4. Started out moving around the bay picking up good bream at container wall then some thumper six-spine jackets at watts reef , threw a chromy around the hot water outlet for zero tailer and then finished up the day at my special spot on the georges river to land endless amounts of well and truely legal bream in TWO FOOT of water!!!! I have studied spot X numerous times and to my brothers suprise as i talked it up and he wouldnt hear a bar of it "got SMASHED by this 1.4kk blue nose winter bream on 6lb line . This fella is my personal best and pulled plent of line once i got him out into the deep.As the daylight faded and the footy called we packed up and left behind the masses of bream at our location. One of the funnest days i have had in the georges. Check out the blue nose on this sucker. Happy fishing.cam.

jewgaffer
Hi Cam that's a cracker of a bream alright, a big blue nose as well !! That's what I mean when I say the breeding size bream are at last coming in and watch out Cam those bream schools are bream from the rocks and beaches outside that come around the time the larger size jew start to come in. Those bream differ from the local upriver bream. There may well be a lot more like that one coming into the Georges and schooling up before going miles upriver and then back out to spawn. You might be in for a lot more big bream in your part of the river. These outside bream are unlike the bream that acclimatise in lakes and creeks, especially the settlers which can't get out, where the connection back to the main river or the sea is closed up by silt or sand etc or only has some seepage at best. Cam the good thing is, the outside bream schools are generally closely followed by breeding size jew schools from around 6 and 7 kilos and upwards coming in and generally staying in the river for quite a few weeks. I hope you and your brother do well on the bream and get onto a big jew or two, it could pay off to run a well geared jew rod down there, as well as your light bream gear at your next session. Well done mate Cheers jewgaffer
