OSHISWET
Hi Raiders , can anyone suggest any good boat ramps around the Parra river? Do you have to pay to use them? IE areas around the Ryde bridges and Cabirita? THANKYOU. P.S What are the best ways to get there
slinkymalinky
There's an ok ramp at the end of Wharf Road in West Ryde. Cheers, Slinky
Flightmanager
On the Northern side of the river , there is a great ramp at Kissing Point. Good parking , 2 lane ramp , and only 20 mins from the Harbour !! Be aware of the car ferry about 1 mile from the ramp , dont want to to rip of the motor on the cable !! brickman
as slinky said whalf road ramp is probly your best bet this is my local ramp stick to the left side as your looking down the ramp at low tide we usuly head out at 4.00am there can be some local kids parked on the ramp just hanging out we have never had to ask them to move, you pull up and take your straps off and they will give you room a would strongly suggest not hasling these kids in fact say gaday because after you leave the ramp they are still there it can be a parking lot if you come back at the wrong time,we leave be for 6.00am and never come back till after lunch i have never had any probs.at this ramp and would recomend it just thought you should know the facts gary
Flightmanager
Kids hanging out at 4AM sounds dodgy to me , might come back to find stuff of mine damaged or missing! Ross
