slinkymalinky Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Now I don't want thousands of Raiders in the park down the street so I'll keep spot X secret but I just got back from a late arvo session and this time I took the camera. I'm seriously considering canceling my trip out after yellowfin at the end of the week with action like this around.... NOT!! The water ripples as he makes another head shaking leap 60cm of prime sashimi (if you're a cat that hasn't eaten for a year) caught on a Squidgy Pro worm Don't get too jealous, Slinky
double pluggers Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Only a carp but way better than the fish i didnt catch today. Oh well if the weather wasnt so bad my reels would not have got the attention they so needed.
Hodgey Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Do you offer charters, Tony? Still, if you can't chase a preferred species, then those blokes still provide entertainment Hodgey
mr magoo Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 considering the weather i think you did better then 99.9% of the fishos in sydney, carp go good ahh, there lots of fun,and they smell so good too lol near my old house there was a lake that when condisions were ordinary and i needed a fix for my addiction iwould trundle down with a loaf of bread and my fly rod and try and hook myself in the ear with a home made bread fly top stuff cheers arman
Davemmm Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 They put up a better fight than the 7cm poddies at the end of my street, think yourself lucky. Dave
