brett a Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 Hey fish raiders Has anybody fished or heard reports at lake macquarie i'll be heading up there in a week or so for a few days fishing out of the yaks cheers
squizzytaylor Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 I got out for a couple of hours yesterday Brett, trolled up 4 lizards between Toronto and Coal Point with a hardbody. Otherwise Tailor have been about near Pulbah Island and also around The Coal Point-Wangi areas. Plenty of reports locally of good size flathead been caught consistently in most locations at present. Which area are you staying and I may be able to point you in a more specific direction. Cheers Geoff

squizzytaylor Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 hi Sqizzytaylor thanks for the info mate we're staying at Gwandalan area cheers Brett, Gwandy is full of shallow areas that should hold fat lazy lizards at thisa time of year, in fact i was shocked at the lack of fight I got yesterday but start shallow and work your way out. If you have no luck let me know and I may be able to organise a boat (nothing but the best POLYCRAFT) trip on the lake. Cheers GT
