Hey fish raiders

Has anybody fished or heard reports at lake macquarie i'll be heading up there in a week or so

for a few days fishing out of the yaks

I got out for a couple of hours yesterday Brett, trolled up 4 lizards between Toronto and Coal Point with a hardbody. Otherwise Tailor have been about near Pulbah Island and also around The Coal Point-Wangi areas.

Plenty of reports locally of good size flathead been caught consistently in most locations at present.

Which area are you staying and I may be able to point you in a more specific direction.

Brett, Gwandy is full of shallow areas that should hold fat lazy lizards at thisa time of year, in fact i was shocked at the lack of fight I got yesterday but start shallow and work your way out. If you have no luck let me know and I may be able to organise a boat (nothing but the best POLYCRAFT) trip on the lake.

Brett just a heads up there is a ABT Bream comp on the 28-29 of this month, with 50 plus boats competing for spots it may lessen your tranquil experience in a yak. ps if you go prior be shore to pm me where you caugt em
