Ray R
Hi KB, I CAN HELP YOU THE FLATTIE LURE BIT , TRY THE BERKLEY GULP 4" Minnow in lime tiger, pepper neon, and camo, as well as JERK SHADS , THEY WORK GREAT AS WELL, 1/8, TO 1/4OUNCE JIG HEAD 2/0 OR 3/0 HOOK SIZE. Hope this helps you go catch a flattie. I'm sure someone else will give you more advice on the bream and whiting as well..
DaveD
My best advice mate is go with a few different packs. As so many raiders will tell you, different plastics work better on different days. If there's no real action, swap to something else, and hopefully one of them works well on the day for you. Always best to try a few different types though, just like with bait. Stick at it
The Iceman
As a basic rule if the water is a green colour use a watermelon coloured SP and if it is a brownie colour use a pumpkinseed coloured SP 3in minnows or 2in grubs will get you fish
jewgaffer
Hi kb2007 Have a try of the Turtlebacks. Robbiebee and his dad generally always bring home good fish out of the Georges even on the worst of days, with both Rob and his dad catching good size fish and preferring to use Turtlebacks. I'm not sure whether they've designed these Turtlebacks to swim like a turtle or what. As far as I'm concerned being primarily a bait fisherman, to have the good catch rate that they have these Turtlebacks must be specially designed to arouse and annoy just about everything that swims.
