I havent really given como much of a go untill last year. I have pulled a couple of nice fish out of there including my best whiting over a couple of sessions in summer.

When I read the title "Como Heaven" I was thinking this:-

Nice result up there on the Como side kingfisher84.

:Funny-Post: Dave, on a serious note, the Como Hotel was an old remote family pub in the fifties, where the locals and the lower Janalli folf used to bring their teenage daughters along as well. Their fathers looked like inbred wood choppers and it reminds me of the more recent hit parade song "Please don't go to Wolverton Mountain"

Anyway, on a Saturday night after they changed the hotel closing time from 6pm till 10pm and when they did the fox trot and the barn dances, I got the usual winks from the permanent wall flowers here and there, but the trouble was that they were either tall dwarfs or had over long noses or very long necks, so I guess my 12 inch pegged pants, my camel haired coat and my Tony Curtis haircut went to waste, while the buck toothed big eared locals were being accepted by the probably radio active non wall flowers from the heights, and I don't think the generations of wood choppers up that way has improved all that much since the Lugarno ferry stopped either.

Cheers

hey guys what rd is that pub on?is the ramp far from it?

Pubs on Cremona Rd and the ramp is just on the other side of the footy ground.

Not much of a ramp though. It's on a mud flat that gets pretty shallow.

If your coming from Liverpool theres not a bad ramp near the Woronora bridge on the Sutherland side. i think it's called Burnum Burnum park. Short run round to Como from there.
