Davemmm Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 As it is nearly summer (hahahaha) I am going to have to finally mount my electric on the poly. I know the Minn Kota's have a bracket that allows you to remove the motor when not in use. My question is - does Jarvis Walker make a similar bracket and if not does the jarvis fit the Minn Kota bracket? Either way what are they worth Dave
volitans Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 Dave, I'm so glad you brought this up. I have a JW electric and have the problem that on the bow of my Stacer Nomad the forward handrails come along the sides and almost touch at the stempost. This means I can't place my JW motor without cutting, shortening and rewelding the handrail. Reading your post reminded me of the JW accessories page and guess what? There is a quick release bracket. Hope this helps.
