G'day all, I was watching Fishing Australia yesterday arvo and they were killing the snapper down in Port Phillip Bay on these new SPs. They were saying that they were made from fish apparantley and totally biodegradable. They said that they should be on the shelf by the time the show went to air. I'm keen to try them but can't remember what they were called. Did anyone here watch the show and remember the name of these things, or does someone know what I'm talking about anyway? They sound bloody good and they were definatley working for them.:beersmile::beersmile:

hi hookenup,

I didnt watch the show but i think you might be talking about the product slam they are supose to be bringing a new product out thats made from the slam cent/bait they have on the shelf at the moment on the leading supermarkets, there not made out of fish but some kind of fish attracting pheramone which they used for getting the fish to eat a lot of food at fish farms.

cheers

They looked exactly like the 7inch jerk shades in that pink colour.

I heard him say that 2 and was pretty sure it was a gulp jerk shade, but wasn't too sure.

Anyway if you find out let me know

From something I've read elsewhere and what snooze said I now think they were called slam baits, anyone heard of them? I'm 99% sure they weren't jerk shads, I know of and have used them before, these were something either only just released or not yet released, I heard him say they should be on the shelf by the time the show went to air.

Look forward to trying them, when i find out for sure what they are.

Just read up on them

they are called slam baits and are not due to be released until September 08

Similar design to gulps but they claim to induce feeding frenzies by using a pheromone or something.

Not too sure on it but alot of hype of the product.... can be bought overseas already, so read up on them.
