No Hairtail - But Whales

Got to the end of Jerusalem Bay just before dark on Saturday night. Tried pillies, raw chicken, everything but not a touch. One day (or rather, night) I will catch my first hairtail.

Tried dragging a lure around my favourite spot near Pearl Beach for taylor - again nothing.

Smooth seas and little wind - so off to Boultons. A few bites and bust-offs, but nothing brought in. Then three whales drifted past, quite close. Made it all worthwhile. Just to be on the water is enough.

ouch i got my first ever hairtail recently and it aint somthing u forget to quickly!!!. nice try with them anyway........somtimes there just not there!.

On saturday night I was also at the end of Jeruselam bay (don't know the spelling)

We had a few ripped baits and saw a hairtail chase one of our baits. We stayed till about 10.00 and landed a nice squid and small jew.

Went to Akuna Bay, Sunday night. Nothing!!!!!!! It's been like that for the last 10 years. No Hairtail anywhere!
