chocofallon Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 Hi All, I thought i'd ask, I'm going to have a bash at fishing Newcastle harbour in my boat for a jewfish this weekend. I've got some good fresh squid and the stella is waiting to meet a big mulloway (or small will do)so I thought id ask if anyone has any tips.. spots? I've heard off the pilot warf and a couple of other places but I think as I don't know the waterway as well I am going to fish close to the mouth/breakwall as they have to pass me going up river and then coming back out and rumour has it they eat calamari so I'm hopefully in with a chance. any extra info would be appreciated. Cheers, Joe
squizzytaylor Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 Im not a Jewie fisho Joe, but many guys I know anchor up near stocko bridge, Live yakka and squid being the gun baits. Geoff
