Steve07 Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 In July,August & September the snapper & plenty of big one's move close in off the reefs, headlands & islands Thats the best time to go & target them.Use good size baits like whole fresh squid, whole slimey fillets, garfish & big green prawns are excellent as well, rig the baits on snelled 2 hook rigs, get out very early or late in the arvo or change of tide & you should be in with a great chance for some good reds. cheers Nexus
