Camoman Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Hey all, hit the hacking and outside today. Started off with some nipper pumping then went for a short drift half way to osbourne shoal from the mouth for all of 1 leatherjacket. Used pillies and tuna strips. Decided to head down south off the cliffs to get away from the breeze which was still fresh and got a few more leatheries. Berleyed up with my left over pillies and got nailed by the slimies of which we caught plenty. Kept some for bait strips for next time and moved back inside near mainbar for a shot at some whiting near the weed. Came up with nothing after about half hour so decided to call it for a day and head back. So all up a few leatheries for a feed and heaps of slimy fillets for bait but a bit disappointed thats all it was. Either way it ended up being a really nice day out once the wind dropped off so was glad to get out.
