After all the Ebay talk I weighed up the plus's and minuses, gave Tony a call and got sorted out with a spare spool on the way....got to love that Fish Raider pricing......She'll be decked out in 4lb Cyrstal and smacking breambo's on Saturday morning with any luck.

Thanks for everyone's input....I think I almost started World War 3 though....dudes just let your fishing do the talking.....

Took her out for run over the weekend...no fish to speak of, but really happy with the performance, she casts a mile....and I think I'm more accurate than I was with my old Sahara 2500...the test will come in the warmer months poppering racks and structure for Breambo's and Bass.....

How this for a start....first flick and I just lob a jig head out there (with no plastic) to see how it goes and bang I come up tight on a Pike!!!! Super start....shame about the rest of the session......
