Hawksburry Fishing? Anyone Fished Up River From Barr Point Lately?

Been thinking of hitting my old hunting grounds for a "Big Bream" session and just wondering if this part of the river has been fishing well?

any info is well appreciated. Its been a while since i have done a good bream session and keen to get back into a a few solid 2kg bream.

Hey Vince

Just spent 5 days on the hawkesbury.

Fishing was pretty slow and seemed to be better down stream in the warmer water.

I stayed in Barpoint and fished the reef each arvo before heading back to the house. I fished it with blades and Gulp shrimps for a couple of decent bream each arvo.

One day I spent up stream fishing as far as Wisemans, most snags had a fish or 2 but no big ones. Most were in the high 20's.

Berowra had some nice fish on the major points plus the rack areas provided some nice smokings, worth a try....
