Im a land based fisherman coz i cant afford a boat! anyways i saw some great threads and got some good ideas of getting quality squid. slinkymalinky Posted August 11, 2008 Share Posted August 11, 2008 Welcome to Fishraider Sam, As far as landbased squid spots are concerned you could give the shorelines around Cottage Point or Appletree Bay a go. (I haven't fished Appletree but when I launched there for the first time a couple of weeks ago it looks like a good squid spot and I've heard since that it sometimes holds good numbers).
