How acurate is seabreezes

I just checked the surf and its like a duck pond yet its showing 3.5 metre swells for tomorrow?

Not sure if i should be planning an outside trip tommorrow or not?

your thoughts?????

I find it very reliable.

What you have at the moment is strong westerly winds that flatten the seas in close.

I'm sure if you go 3 or 4 miles offshore you will start to get a wind chop - the further out you go, the bigger the seas.

Have a look at the horizon - you can usually see if it is flat or very wobbly indicating rough conditions offshore.

I wouldnt be heading out and I find seabreeze to be very good although i will use a number of websites and get an overall picture of how things are.

You can also try www.buoyweather.com which I find is fairly accuarate.

I was just out walking my dog and he ended up two suburbs away so I'd guess that seabreeze was fairly accurate this time.

seebreeze is very accurate if you can hide out of the way the wind and swell is coming from than go but if your out in the open its not worth the risk
