hi all

just a quicky hit the penrith wier sat arvo for first time this year

all was quiet but as soon as the sun set the bass went nuts

caught 12 in 45min all on surface crawlers

the size was from 20cm to 35cm so a good little sesh

so they have returned

Went for as fish at devlins on saturday.

Got on the water at 4.30 and paddled down streem only to find that thick floating weed completely across the river for as far as the eye could see. My brother and I are ex canoe and kayak paddlers up to a national level but we couldn't get through it.

Got a few before the weed but it was hard going.

Hopefully the weed eater gets out there soon.

Thanks for that Miller, i had been wondering how things were. Soon as the wife has a baby somtime this week, quick hospital visits then straight down the weir! Nah i think that might not be so good. But i should be there by the weekend after.
