tyrone07
Decided to give copa my local a try and it absolutly fired for bream. Not the biggest with a cpl pushing 27cm but there were that many i landed about 16 in 2 hrs of spinning. Caught on bass minnows, sx-40 but the lure of the day was a little ecogear grass minnow. Also saw what looked like a ep come out of a little rock cave and soon as my lure went near it it disappeared. I also think there are some frigates or bonnies in there cos everytime i would walk out onto the flats they would dart round and smash bait everywhere. Heres an average bream on bass minnow Edited February 14, 2005 by tyrone07

allen glover
Good stuff mate. The "darting" fish were probably big-eyes, they're in most of the goons up that way. 31863[/snapback] big eye trevally??
Ken A
If its open to the sea its odds on they were Frigates hitting the bait this time of year. Those fellas will go in ankle deep water after bait. The little green torpedoes One of my favorite sportfish on light gear. If they grew to 15 kilos you would need to use 24kg gear on them
