VA911
Just a quick report with no pics (sorry bout that) Hit the harbour early with Steve and his mate Addz. Squidding was hard work , very hard work, We were lucky to get into some early. downrigged the summer favourite spot for a chopper tailer almost instantly. Pulled the pin and off back to MH. Fist bait in the water and with in 2 miins the first bait goes OFF!!!!!!!!!!!! Dusted!!!!!!!! The kingfish virgin on strike remains a virgin. This was well and truly sorted within 10 mins. Cherry popped with a nice king going 75. Not long after we were on double around the 80 mark. The morning continued to get better but the fish SHUT DOWN early again... they were there on the sounder but wouldnt take a bait. Bumped into a few other fellow raiders and saw a few others get dusted. All in all a great day, good company and more kings. wish we took pics but we were more worried about finding fish on the chew rather than taking happy snaps. VA911
cheers guys, Slinky, actually not sure if the former virgin is a raider. Oh well he had a smile on his face either way!!!! Kings, thanks. Mate still a lot to learn, went through a huge learning curve last year, put in heaps of hours and its paid off.
