quaddy Posted October 18, 2008 Share Posted October 18, 2008 Hit the water bout 3pm yesterday and spent a couple of hours getting some live bait. That was the only success for the night. Searched everywhere for some squid using all sorts of baits. No luck. Used the live baits without so much as a hit. Was approached by a couple of other boats during the night and they too were coming up short. Gave up about 3am. We are just going to stick with the flatties and bream and give the jewies a miss for awhile. I suppose that is what happens when you try to target one species. Nice night though.
