Ray R
Hi Raiders, Hutcho and I went to Kincumber and Davistown on a flattie hunt this morning, this time they were not there , we hunted all over the place , used multiple SP's, hard bodies , different jighead weights, every trick in the book for one flattie that was snared by Hutcho, he scored a little flounder at the end of the session as well. So today we have sore arms and all but no fish, if they were there we would have got a few given all the options we tried, some days are diamonds, and some days are stones, beaut conditions though as you will see in the pics.. Hodgey
It had to happen sooner or later Ray Not to worry, the one flattie you fellas got was a nice fish, and you spent a day in some picturesque surrounds with a great mate ... not a bad day, eh? Top photos again mate. Out of curiosity, did Hutcho get his flattie on SX40 again? Cheers Hodgey

copafisher
Bad luck Ray, you and Hutcho have been getting a reasonably good run in the fish finding stakes so it had to happen sometime. My last few trips have been zilch. May be why the price of flatties has dropped, they were $22/kg at Erina today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better if you get out again, might see you out there, I will be out showing some mates around Lion Is/Patonga. I picked up some 'secret' weapons today to entice those flatties - frogs Lucky that bet wasnt on this trip, might have looked like a Manly win . Cheers, Steve
