landbased
First report for a while Got up at 6am ready to catch the last of the tide in the hacking looking after a feed, got to the ramp 6.30ish and went for a drift in near wally's warf. Started getting bights on the nippers straight away but all I could pull in was a little yakka ( now I know where to find them lol ) put him in the bucket to use later, next drift I hook up to something that pulls the whiting rod over get it in and looks like a 28cm trev, chucked it back and tried again for a few more drifts with no luck. Move further up the hacking to lilly pilly for nothing south west arm for zero and a few other places for nothing might try the bay tomorrow and see if i can get some dinner . tumra
mate shame you couldnt catch any keepers.... i find the hacking fishes better in the deeper water as opposed to the shallow areas...fishing has been picking up lately but you have to be berleying for any reasonable results. I have been catching my fish that way.
