glennmreid
Hi Guys, What sort of fish can I expect to catch at the weir in the Nepean at Penrith? I notice that the Penrith side of the wider body of water, and the other side of the weir it starts to narrow and get shallow. Which side of the weir is better to fish? Any bass in the area? I have noticed that People who fish the wider, Penrith side of the weit using floats and bait, the other narrow side of the weir, lure fishing. Any tips would be great. mottyman
G'day Glenn, On both sides of the weir you'll get Bass and Carp regularly. Fish for Bass on spinner baits, surface lures, hard bodies, plastics - whatever you like. Fish for the Carp with Bread or Corn. Late evening into dark and very early in the morning are best. Hope that helps. Cheers David.
