FISHLETIC Posted October 27, 2008 Share Posted October 27, 2008 Just wondering if anyone knows of Kings or Jews for that matter being caught in and around Bantry Bay ? Reason for me asking is my brother picked one up there on Sunday ......nice healthy 71cm model ! It was a wonderful surprise to all of us as we just pulled up there for lunch,we were actually calling it for a Jew until we seen colour ..... Your feedback is much appreciated. Cheers Geoff. Josh88 Posted October 27, 2008 Share Posted October 27, 2008 In person i have never seen them past sugarloaf bay/pickering point but know people that have caught them at roseville boat ramp. Bantry is a place where the kings will tend to be at either the start or end of the season usually. But as with everything nothing can be too predictable. A friends often sits his cruiser in there most weekends over summer , and has caught kings in amongst the bream on peeled prawns its full of yakkas and mullet in there so you'd assume the kings would patrol it regularly Jason Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
