chrism1986
Hi Guys/Gals, This is my second post and I am glad that these forums exist! I have been out in botany bay around 4-5 times in my new boat and have picked up only a few small trevally and flathead on lures. I was wondering if anyone can give me boat fishing tips in Botany Bay with regard to good places to fish for flathead and bream/trevally along with consistant results. I have tried drifting along towra and the brighton beachs with little success. Any help with this would be much appreicated. I usually fish with soft plastics and hard body lures however I am dirfting towards bait fishing and would like to know hints on how to fish the bay. thanks and regards Chris. chrism1986
Thanks, I have been fishing towra in about 1 meter of water in very clear conditions over the sand/weed beds. I am not sure if i should be fishing deeper or near channel markers? Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks. Is it worth to berly when fishing with soft plastics? thanks Chris. Savage73
Hi there, I fished soft plastics for the first time in the bay on sunday and I had great success. I had the aid of berly on occasion. I fished towra and the hot water outlet in kurnel. Also a great spot is la Peruse near the nude beach....got my first bream to 32cm there.
