glennmreid
I just changed my VHF radio in my boat. The radio that I have taken out has DSC capabilities, and because I have a MMSID number, I entered it in the radio when I first bought it. Does anyone know who to delete the user MMSID from the radio? It is a Navman VHF 7200 radio. I have sold the radio, and obviously don't want someone else transmitting using my MMSID number. Is there a way to wipe if from the radios memory?

Can you go in through the menu to edit it, just delete the numbers and store that new blank setting?

mrsswordfisherman
Give me a yell on msn Glenn I have some info for you. Navman may help but you may also need to contact RCC Australia to change the details on the MMSI registration database. If you give them a call I am sure they will tell you what needs to be done.
