kingiemaster
Went out in the canoe morning. Hooked up to a nice King at the bluff. Didn't have time to bring up the downrigger bomb as the fish was motoring towards other boats/moorings. Just as I thought I had it under control and close enough to see it inevitably it got caught up in the DR cord and ping! Things went quite after that for me and other boats (who were also getting into them) so headed back to the Spit. Caught and released a rat around the SE marina moorings. Despite the lost fish I was happy enough. That 4 fish in 4 trips. I only hope my new toys in the mail don't jinx me. Dave

Josh88
Well done Dave. You seem to be doing pretty well out of the yak, better than some in boats.

erroll
Better luck next time Dave, downrigging from a canoe, that's awesome. I lost one yesterday around the wire rope, I just didn't have the presence of mind to wind the bugger up. In a canoe, thats another thing. Quite a hit rate there!
