Im heading up to Lennox head over christmas and was just wondering what the go is with the exclusion zones and marine parks etc. Are you allowed to fish off the beaches or not? And how far does that extend down to ballina etc?

Does anyone know what the fishing is like off the beaches? Probs just after some flatties or tailor and might also head into ballina to fish the richmond.
