Yum. Next me im on myboat Im going for a big croc on SP.

ORES Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 Nuclear Chicken - WTF I know ay... WTF? The person who named it nuclear chicken must have attended woodstock or is the brains behind the Ren & Stimpy show

Hodgey Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Well done mate. I hope the big croc is just around the corner The plastics manufacturers are definitely targetting the anglers now, with: Curried Chicken Satay Chicken Curried Chicken Sweet 'n' Sour etc Cheers Hodgey
Tiger Cam Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Congrats on your first SP capture The three inch nuclear chicken has been my most effective SP to date. Cheers, Cam
ORES Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 Thanks for the coments. What is itwith the nuclear chicken colours, I mean when I put it on the jig I thought, Havnt seen many baits that rasemble an apple toffe lollypop(remember those) but works very well. I saw a decent school of mullet as well lurking in the kelps and was wondering if there is a soft plastic that might work for them. Has any one cought mullet on soft plastics? Cheers
King slayer Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 I got my best flattie ever (56cms) on a nuclear chicken grub, super large size. I don't think much of the gulp minnows though. I've caught fish on them, but the action is crap. Give the much underrated powerbait minnows a go, we do quite well on them. I'm also quite addicted to the plastics Dave
