Bullfrog Fishing

Thats right bullfrog fishing.Was just watching Global Village tonight and in the south of France fish for the imported American bullfrog. They use those long one piece fibre glass or timber poles with string or fishing line attached to the tip with a hook on the end. When ready the hook is baited with a strip of flesh and the hunt begins. Stalking the bank looking for a suitable sized frog, once located the bait is waived under its nose until it strikes or hops away. Once caught it is beheaded, skinned and pan fried. How bizarre.
